These ten widgets are why most stores install Cartie. Each one is documented with what it does, its key settings, and what it needs from your Shopify store to actually work.

#🚚 Free Shipping Bar

A progress bar showing how far the shopper is from free shipping — the single highest-leverage cart widget for most stores.

• Cart value required for free shipping — the threshold the bar counts toward.
• Progress message — shown while the shopper is short, with the remaining amount filled in.
• Achieved message — shown once they cross it.
• Show truck icon — toggles the leading icon.

#✨ Smart Upsell

A carousel of recommended products with an add button on each card. Layouts: scrolling row, grid, list, or smart.

• Product source — *Related* uses Shopify's own recommendations for what is already in the cart; *Manual* shows products you hand-pick.
• Trigger rules — "when *this* product is in the cart, recommend *those* products". Rules are evaluated in order, and the default source is used when none match.
• Heading, button label, number of products, and whether to show prices and product tags (BESTSELLER, NEW).

#🏷️ Discount Code

A coupon field inside the cart, so shoppers stop leaving to search for codes (and coming back through someone else's affiliate link, or not at all).

• Start collapsed — shows a small "Have a discount code?" link that expands on click, keeping the cart tidy.
• Pre-fill a code — pick one of your live Shopify discount codes to fill in automatically for a campaign.
• Label, placeholder, button text and input style.

#⏱️ Flash Sale Countdown

A ticking timer for a limited-time offer, in a stacked or horizontal layout with boxed or inline digits.

• Timer mode — a fixed duration per shopper, end of day, or a specific date and time.
• Discount percentage — set this above zero and Cartie creates a real store-wide automatic discount in Shopify for the life of the timer, then deletes it when the timer ends. The on-page countdown and the discount share the same end instant, so they cannot drift apart.
• When the timer expires — do nothing, or switch to another cart, so a sale cart automatically hands over to your everyday cart at midnight without you being awake for it.
• Loop when expired — restarts from full duration (evergreen urgency; use honestly).

#🏆 Rewards Ladder

Several spend thresholds in one widget — "$50 free shipping, $100 free gift, $150 15% off" — so there is always a next tier to reach for. Every checkpoint does something real:

Each checkpoint has an amount, a label, and an icon. Celebrate unlocks pulses the milestone and can fire an animation keyed to that specific checkpoint.

#🔥 Scarcity & Social Proof

Two modes — social (other shoppers' behaviour) and stock (scarcity) — across several layouts: a default notification strip, a simple line, an image-and-quote card, a press quote, a customer review with rating, an avatar rating row, and an "As Seen In" logo row.

• Messages can rotate automatically, with an optional pulse animation on the icon.
• Review and press layouts take your own quote text, reviewer or publication name, and logo or profile image.

#📦 Volume Discounts

"Buy more, save more" tiers for one product — as stacked cards or a single compact row. Pick the product, choose percentage or fixed-amount savings, and define your tiers (quantity, label, saving, optional badge).

#🔄 Subscribe & Save

A one-time vs. subscription toggle for products you sell on a recurring basis, with the discount percentage and delivery frequency shown to the shopper.

#🛡️ Shipping Protection

An opt-in order-protection toggle that adds a small fee to the cart. Cartie can create and publish the fee product for you — see the shipping protection setup guide.

• Protection fee — the price of the fee product.
• Title, description and icon — how the offer is presented.

#🎰 Scratch Off

An interactive scratch card the shopper drags to reveal a discount code — a memorable way to hand out a code without plastering it on the page.

• Discount code — must be a real code in your Shopify store. Publishing is blocked if the code does not exist, so shoppers never scratch off a dud.
• Cover image, cover text and subtitle — what the card looks like before scratching.
• Inside label and subtitle — the reveal.
